PeerGFS and PeerIQ v6.1 are Now Available
Peer Software is pleased to announce the General Availability of PeerGFS and PeerIQ v6.1. They are immediately available for purchase, trial download, and as upgrades.
What's New in PeerGFS?
Feature and improvement highlights include:
- Added new capabilities to the PeerGFS REST API, including the ability to release quarantines, create new jobs using templates, and delete jobs.
- Introduced an enhanced driver to better support Edge Caching implementations. (Available for PeerGFS subscription customers).
- Improved support for NetApp ONTAP, Dell PowerScale, Nutanix Files and Windows Failover Cluster file server environments.
- Added a move capability for File Replication jobs, currently available as Early Access.
- Improved the handling of out-of-sync folders during rescans.
- Added the ability to convert File Collaboration jobs to File Synchronization and vice versa.
- Upgraded dependency libraries.
- Multiple UI, performance and usability updates.
What's New In PeerIQ?
Exclusively for PeerGFS Subscription Customers, PeerIQ includes a number of new features and improvements, including:
- New File Activity Analytics capabilities that paint a picture of how data is being used on file servers in an environment.
- Improved File System Analytics pages.
- Added a new web-based upgrade system for the PeerIQ container stack.
- Enhanced user accounts with the ability to assign roles and select time zones per user.
- Added a system statistics page to monitor the health of the PeerIQ appliance, along with new diagnostics sources and improved log gathering.
- Various UI improvements.
